THE ORBIT DESK

A visible queue for work that happens later.

Some maintenance belongs in a quieter window. Orbit lets your team select supported site operations, set their execution date and time, and review scheduled work. The scheduler dispatches those operations through the WordPress connection, giving the team a record to follow when the time arrives.

Choose a supported operation

Use the site’s scheduling screen to prepare one of the WordPress actions the application exposes. Keep the target website and operation scope visible before saving the schedule.

Set the time and repeat rule

Choose a one-time operation or repeat it daily, every two days, weekly or monthly. Check the displayed next run so the maintenance window matches the team’s and client’s expectations.

Follow the scheduled work

Review pending schedules and remove a scheduled action if plans change. Check the operation result and site state afterward, especially when a connection was unavailable at execution time.

Scheduled actions require a working WordPress connector. Scheduling does not add staging tests, backup creation or a Safe Update guarantee.
