THE ORBIT DESK

Separate available updates from the planned safety layer.

Orbit already supports standard WordPress update operations through the connector. Safe Update is a separate planned workflow for teams that want a more structured review before production. Its goal is to make preparation and decision points visible, with the site context available throughout.

Prepare the change

The planned workflow would start with update scope, recovery readiness and an appropriate test environment. The operator should understand which parts of the client site need review.

Inspect before production

Staging and visual checks are intended to help teams review important pages before approving a production change. These checks are roadmap concepts, not an available automated testing service.

Keep a person responsible

The intended final step is a human decision about whether to proceed. A structured review can support that decision without promising that every compatibility issue will be detected.

Coming soon. Automated staging, visual comparisons and rollback are not currently available. Use the regular Updates feature for implemented WordPress update actions.
